Grenada Lake

Grenada Lake is a reservoir in north central Mississippi, USA. It is located in Grenada County and covers approximately 35,000 acres with a shoreline of 148 miles. The lake was constructed by the US Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950s as a flood control project on the Yalobusha River. It is also used for recreation, including fishing, boating, swimming, camping, and picnicking. The lake is known for its abundance of crappie, catfish, and bass. The Grenada Lake Visitor Center offers exhibits and educational programs about the lake and the surrounding area.
