Sevier Lake

Sevier Lake is a large, shallow, saline lake located in west-central Utah. It covers an area of approximately 1,200 square miles and is fed largely by the Sevier River. The lake is known for its high salt content, which has led to a variety of unique flora and fauna in the surrounding area. It is also a popular destination for birdwatchers, as the lake is home to a number of migratory bird species. Despite its ecological significance, the lake has faced numerous challenges, including water diversions and pollution from nearby mining operations.
