Lake Lowell

Lake Lowell is a reservoir located in southwestern Idaho, United States, near the city of Nampa. It was created by the construction of the Deer Flat Dam on the Boise River in 1908, and is managed by the Bureau of Reclamation. The lake covers an area of 8,000 acres and has a shoreline of 31 miles. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, camping, and wildlife watching. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including bass, trout, and catfish, and is also a major stopover for migratory waterfowl. The surrounding area includes the Lake Lowell Wildlife Management Area, which offers hiking and birdwatching opportunities.
