DeGray Lake is a man-made lake situated in the Ouachita Mountains of west-central Arkansas. It is located about 8 miles southeast of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and covers an area of approximately 13,400 acres. The lake was created in the 1970s as a result of the construction of the DeGray Dam on the Caddo River. The lake serves as a popular recreational destination for fishing, boating, and camping. It is home to a wide variety of fish species including bass, crappie, catfish, and bream. The lake area also offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and a golf course. The DeGray Lake Resort State Park provides accommodations for visitors, including cabins, campsites, and a lodge.
