Lake Atkins

Lake Atkins is a popular fishing spot located near the city of Russellville in Pope County, Arkansas. The lake covers an area of 752 acres and has a maximum depth of around 42 feet. It is popular for fishing crappie, bass, catfish, and bream, and the lake also has a boat ramp and picnic areas. Additionally, there is a campground nearby that offers RV and tent camping. The lake is named after John Quincy Atkins, who was a prominent businessman and civic leader in the area.
