Horseshoe Lake is a reservoir in Maricopa County, Arizona. It is located in the Tonto National Forest and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and camping. It has a surface area of approximately 1,500 acres and is fed by the Verde River. The lake is surrounded by desert vegetation, including cactus and mesquite trees, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, great blue herons, and coyotes. Access to the lake is via Forest Road 205, which is about 9 miles off the Beeline Highway.
