Gross Reservoir

Gross Reservoir is a large water storage facility located in Boulder County, Colorado, USA. The reservoir is situated in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and is capable of holding up to 41,811 acre feet (51.56 million cubic meters) of water. The dam that forms the reservoir is 340 feet (100 meters) high and 1,280 feet (390 meters) long. Gross Reservoir is owned and operated by Denver Water, and is used to supply water to the city of Denver and the surrounding area. The reservoir also provides recreational opportunities, including fishing, boating, and hiking.
