Tarryall Reservoir is a high-altitude reservoir located in Park County, Colorado. It is situated in the Pike National Forest, approximately 10 miles west of Lake George and 20 miles southeast of Fairplay. The reservoir was created in the 1930s as a part of the Tarryall Project, which aimed to provide water for irrigation and hydroelectric power generation.
Tarryall Reservoir is a popular spot for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and camping. The reservoir is stocked with various species of fish including rainbow trout, brown trout, and kokanee salmon. There are also several campgrounds in the area, including the Tarryall Reservoir Campground and Tarryall Creek Campground.
