Saugatuck Reservoir is a large freshwater reservoir located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. It covers an area of approximately 410 acres and has a maximum depth of 100 feet. The reservoir was created in 1941 by impounding the Saugatuck River for drinking water supply to the towns of Westport, Fairfield, Weston, and Norwalk. It is managed by the Aquarion Water Company and is open to the public for boating, fishing, and hiking on designated trails. The reservoir is home to a variety of fish species, including trout, bass, and sunfish, and is a popular spot for recreational activities and outdoor enthusiasts
