Lake Viola

Lake Viola is a small lake located in the town of Hawthorne, Florida in Alachua County. The lake is surrounded by residential properties and has a surface area of approximately 60 acres. It is a popular location for fishing and boating, and is stocked with a variety of fish species including largemouth bass, bluegills and catfish. The lake has a public boat ramp and a fishing pier for visitors to use. The town of Hawthorne also hosts an annual Lake Festival celebration to commemorate the lake and its importance to the community.
