About this destination
Lake Red Rock is a reservoir located in south-central Iowa, United States. It was created in 1969 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a flood control project on the Des Moines River. The lake covers over 15,000 acres and is surrounded by 35,000 acres of public land.
