Pistakee Lake

Pistakee Lake is a natural lake located in McHenry County, Illinois, in the United States. It is a part of the Chain O'Lakes, a system of interconnected lakes and waterways in northeastern Illinois that includes Fox Lake, Lake Marie, and others. Pistakee Lake covers an area of approximately 1,700 acres and has a maximum depth of around 40 feet. It is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and other recreational activities, and is home to a variety of fish species, including bass, catfish, and bluegill. The lake is surrounded by residential areas, and several parks and public access points provide opportunities for picnicking, swimming, and other outdoor activities.
