Milford Lake is a large reservoir located in the northeastern part of Kansas, USA, approximately 10 miles west of Junction City. It is the largest man-made lake in Kansas, covering over 16,000 acres and boasting over 150 miles of shoreline.
The lake was created in the 1960s as part of the US Army Corps of Engineers' flood control and water supply project for the Kansas River Basin. The lake offers numerous recreational activities, including fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and hunting.
