Fishtrap Lake

Fishtrap Lake is a 1,131-acre reservoir located in Pike County, Kentucky. It was created in 1968 by the Army Corps of Engineers for flood control, recreation, and wildlife management purposes. Fishtrap Lake has several boat ramps and offers fishing for black bass, crappie, bluegill, redear sunfish, and channel catfish. Additionally, the lake features a beach area for swimming and several picnic areas for visitors to enjoy. The Fishtrap Lake State Park offers camping, hiking, and bird-watching opportunities.
