Calcasieu Lake

Calcasieu Lake is a brackish water lake located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. It covers an area of about 200 square miles and is connected to the Gulf of Mexico by the Calcasieu Ship Channel. The lake is known for its excellent fishing opportunities, particularly for redfish and speckled trout.
