About this destination

Lake Kabetogama is a large freshwater lake in northern Minnesota, located in Voyageurs National Park. It covers an area of over 25,000 acres and has over 200 islands and numerous bays and coves. The lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, camping, and wildlife viewing. It is home to a wide variety of fish including walleye, northern pike, muskie, and smallmouth bass, as well as loons, bald eagles, and other wildlife. The lake is also part of the extensive water network that makes up the chain of lakes in the region, which includes Rainy Lake, Namakan Lake, and Crane Lake.
