Carolina Lake

Carolina Lake is a large man-made lake in the city of Sanford, North Carolina. It covers approximately 200 acres and is surrounded by a 3.5-mile paved walking trail. The lake is a popular destination for recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking, and boating. There are also several picnic areas and playgrounds located around the lake. Carolina Lake is a part of the Carolina Trace Master Planned Community and is open to residents and their guests. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie.
