Hope Mills Lake is a man-made lake located in Hope Mills, North Carolina. It was created in 2003 by damming Rockfish Creek in order to provide recreational opportunities and to control flooding in the area. The lake covers 150 acres and has a maximum depth of 30 feet. It is popular for boating, fishing, and picnicking, and also features a walking trail around the perimeter. The lake is operated by the town of Hope Mills and is open to the public.
