Wehrspann Lake

Wehrspann Lake is a man-made reservoir located in Sarpy County, Nebraska, near the city of Omaha. It covers an area of 247 acres and has a maximum depth of 26 feet. The lake is a popular recreation area for boating, fishing, hiking, and birdwatching. It is stocked regularly with a variety of fish, including catfish, bass, and crappie. The lake features several boat ramps, fishing piers, and picnic areas, as well as a hiking and biking trail that circles the lake. Wehrspann Lake is owned and managed by the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District.
