Santa Rosa Lake is a reservoir located in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. It was created in 1980 by the construction of the Santa Rosa Dam on the Pecos River. The lake has a surface area of 3,800 acres and a maximum depth of 125 feet. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, camping, and water sports. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white bass, walleye, bluegill, and crappie.
