Ute Reservoir is a man-made reservoir located in northeastern New Mexico, near the town of Logan. It was created in the 1960s by building a dam on the Canadian River.
The reservoir has a surface area of approximately 8,200 acres and a maximum depth of about 100 feet. It is used for recreation, including boating, fishing, camping, and swimming. Visitors can also hike and bird-watch in the surrounding area.
Fish species found in Ute Reservoir include bass, catfish, crappie, and walleye. The reservoir is also a popular spot for water sports such as water skiing and jet skiing.
