Hemlock Lake is a natural lake located in Livingston County, New York, USA. It is one of the Finger Lakes and is the sixth largest of the 11 Finger Lakes. The lake is approximately 7 miles long and has a maximum depth of 91 feet. The lake is known for its clear, deep water and is popular for swimming, fishing, and boating. Hemlock Lake is also a source of drinking water for the City of Rochester. The area around the lake is largely undeveloped, with much of the shoreline being protected by state forests and wildlife management areas.
