Davis Lake is a natural freshwater lake located in Deschutes County, Oregon, United States. It is located approximately 53 miles southwest of Bend, Oregon and is situated within the Cascade Range. The lake is fed by snowmelt and several small creek tributaries, and it drains into the Middle Fork of the Willamette River.
Davis Lake covers an area of approximately 1,200 acres and has a maximum depth of 50 feet. It is popular for fishing and boating, with rainbow trout, brown trout, kokanee, and Atlantic salmon being the most abundant fish species found in the lake.
The lake and surrounding area are managed by the Deschutes National Forest and offer a variety of recreational activities, including camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The Davis Lake campground provides campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, and access to vault toilets.
