Lake Nockamixon is a man-made lake located in southeastern Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is situated in Nockamixon State Park, which spans an area of over 5,400 acres and is a popular recreation destination in the region. The lake was created in 1973 by the damming of Tohickon Creek. It has a surface area of approximately 1,450 acres and is known for its excellent fishing and boating opportunities. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish species, including walleye, muskellunge, and crappie. It also has several boat launches and marinas, as well as over 10 miles of shoreline for fishing, swimming, and hiking. The park also offers camping areas, picnic areas, and nature trails.
