Opossum Lake is a man-made lake located in East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The lake covers an area of approximately 59 acres and has a maximum depth of 36 feet. It was created in 1971 by the construction of a dam along the Conodoguinet Creek.
The lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and picnicking. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocks the lake with trout and other game fish throughout the year. There are also several picnic areas, a playground, and a boat launch for visitors to enjoy.
