Georgiaville Pond is a 179-acre freshwater body located in the northwest part of Rhode Island, in the town of Smithfield. The pond is a popular recreational destination for activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking and hiking around the shoreline, as well as admiring the pond's natural beauty. The pond offers a variety of fish species including largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow perch. In addition, there is a small beach area on the north side of the pond that is open during the summer months for swimming. The pond is managed by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and is open year-round.
