Waterman Reservoir is a man-made lake located in northern Rhode Island, United States. The reservoir has a surface area of 327 acres and a maximum depth of 37 feet. It was created in the 1920s by the construction of a dam on the Clear River. The primary purpose of the reservoir is to supply water to the nearby towns. The area surrounding the reservoir is mostly forested and offers opportunities for activities like fishing, boating, hiking, and wildlife watching. The reservoir is also a popular spot for ice fishing during the winter months.
