Woods Reservoir is a 3,515-acre reservoir located in Franklin County, Tennessee. It was created in 1952 by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for hydroelectric power generation and flood control. The lake is surrounded by forested hills and is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping. It is home to various species of fish, including bass, crappie, and catfish. The reservoir has two main access points, which include the Woods Reservoir Boat Ramp and the Old Salem Boat Ramp. There is also a recreational area with picnic sites, a playground, and a nature trail.
