Lake Palo Pinto

Lake Palo Pinto is a reservoir located in the northwest part of Texas, about 40 miles west of Fort Worth. It was created in 1969 by damming the Palo Pinto Creek and is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and water sports. The lake covers over 1,300 acres and has a maximum depth of 54 feet. The park surrounding Lake Palo Pinto offers several amenities such as camping, hiking, and picnic areas. The lake is known for its excellent fishing opportunities, including largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie.
