About this destination

O.C. Fisher Lake is a reservoir located in Tom Green County, Texas, USA. It was created by the construction of the O.C. Fisher Dam on the North Concho River by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1952. The lake has a surface area of approximately 5,440 acres and a maximum depth of 58 feet. It provides irrigation water to surrounding farms, as well as recreational opportunities, such as boating, fishing, and camping. The lake and dam are named after former Texas congressman and governor, Orville Bullington Fisher.
