Oak Creek Reservoir is a 2,200-acre lake located in Coke County, Texas. It is situated approximately 20 miles northwest of the city of Bronte and 40 miles northeast of San Angelo. The lake is fed by the North and South Oak Creeks and is owned and operated by the City of Sweetwater as a municipal water supply and recreational facility.
Oak Creek Reservoir is known for its clear water and abundant fish populations, particularly largemouth bass, crappie, and striper. The lake is also a popular destination for boating, water skiing, and swimming, with several parks and campgrounds located around its shores.
