Lake Blanche is a glacial lake located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, USA. It is part of the Wasatch Mountain Range and sits at an elevation of 8,900 feet above sea level. The lake is known for its pristine beauty and stunning views of the surrounding peaks. There are three other lakes in the area as well; Lake Florence, Lake Lillian, and Twin Lakes. The Lake Blanche Trail is a popular hiking trail that leads to the lake and is accessible from the trailhead at the Mill B South Fork parking lot. The hike is 6.8 miles round trip and is rated as moderate to difficult due to the elevation gain of over 2,700 feet. The trail offers beautiful scenery, including waterfalls, wildflowers, and stunning views of the canyon and surrounding peaks. Swimming and fishing are allowed in the lake but require a valid Utah fishing license. The lake is home to trout and other fish species.
