Willard Bay Reservoir is a man-made lake located in northern Utah, about 15 miles northwest of Ogden. It was created in the 1960s to provide irrigation water for farmers and to help control flooding on the Weber River. Today, it is a popular spot for boating, fishing, camping, and swimming. The reservoir covers about 9,900 acres and has a maximum depth of 21 feet. It is home to a variety of fish species, including walleye, bass, bluegill, and catfish. Willard Bay State Park, which surrounds the reservoir, offers multiple recreational opportunities, including hiking, bird-watching, and picnicking.
