Lake Drummond is a freshwater lake located in the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in southeastern Virginia. It is one of only two natural lakes in Virginia, and covers an area of approximately 3,100 acres. The lake is circular in shape and has a maximum depth of 6 feet (1.8 meters). Lake Drummond is surrounded by dense forest and is home to a variety of wildlife, including black bears, bobcats, and migratory birds. The lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing.
