Keechelus Lake is a reservoir located in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, USA. It was created by the impoundment of the Yakima River by the Keechelus Dam. The lake is approximately 14 miles long and covers an area of 2,560 acres. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and other recreational activities. The lake is also an important source of water for irrigation, hydropower generation, and municipal water supply for the Seattle metropolitan area.
