Little Kachess Lake is a small alpine lake located in Kittitas County, Washington state. It's situated at an elevation of 4,620 feet (1,408 m) above sea level within the Wenatchee National Forest.
The lake is approximately 235 acres (95 hectares) in size and is popular for fishing, camping, and hiking. Fish species that can be found in the lake include rainbow and cutthroat trout, kokanee, and smallmouth bass.
There are several hiking trails near the lake, including the Ridge Trail, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The lake is also a popular destination for water sports, such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming.
The campgrounds in the area offer a variety of facilities, including picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. The lake is accessible via Forest Road 4818, which is open during the summer months.
