Lost Lake is a small, natural freshwater lake located in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in north-central Washington State. It is situated at an elevation of 3,450 feet (1,052 meters) and covers an area of approximately 47 acres (19 hectares).
The lake is fed by snowmelt and several small streams and is surrounded by lush forests of fir, cedar, and hemlock trees. It is a popular recreation area for fishing, boating, kayaking, and camping.
The lake’s trout fishery is stocked annually with rainbow trout and is open for fishing from early June through late October. There is a small boat launch on the northern shore of the lake, and non-motorized boats are allowed.
Lost Lake Campground, located on the northeastern shore of the lake, offers 17 campsites, picnic areas, and a group picnic shelter. The campground has no electricity or running water, and campfires are allowed in designated fire pits.
