Shadow Lake is a small lake located in King County, Washington, United States. It is situated within the boundary of the Shadow Lake Bog Preserve, a 98-acre preserve that protects and preserves the last remaining peat bog wetland in the Seattle metropolitan area.
The lake is approximately 7 acres in size and is surrounded by forested wetlands that provide habitat for a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, ospreys, beavers, and otters. The lake is also stocked regularly with rainbow trout, making it a popular destination for recreational fishing.
The preserve offers a 0.3-mile boardwalk trail that allows visitors to explore the unique wetland ecosystem and observe the diverse flora and fauna. It is open year-round and is free of charge
