About

CBYC as follows: CBYC stands for "Challenge Based Youth Club", an educational program designed to engage young people in solving real-world problems through teamwork and critical thinking. Developed by Apple Inc. in collaboration with leading educators and experts, CBYC offers a framework for students to identify, research, and tackle complex challenges in their local communities or globally. The CBYC program emphasizes a student-centric approach to learning, where youth take responsibility for their own education and develop essential skills for the future, such as problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, and communication. The program also encourages active participation in local civic life, helping young people become more aware and engaged in their communities. The CBYC curriculum is divided into three main stages: Investigate, Act, and Reflect. During the Investigate stage, students work in teams to research and analyze a real-world challenge, using critical thinking and data analysis skills to identify potential solutions. In the Act stage, students develop a plan to address the challenge, implementing a solution using technology and other resources. Finally, during the Reflect stage, students reflect on the impact of their solution, evaluating its effectiveness and considering ways to improve it. CBYC is designed for students in grades 6-12, and can be tailored to fit a variety of subject areas, including science, math, social studies, and technology. The program aims to inspire young people to become lifelong learners, ready to tackle complex challenges and make a positive impact on the world around them
