Lake Fort Gibson is a reservoir located in northeastern Oklahoma in the United States. The lake is located on the Grand River and covers over 19,900 acres of water with over 225 miles of shoreline. The lake was originally created in 1947 by the construction of a dam and now serves as a popular recreation destination for fishing, boating, camping, and hiking. The lake is also home to several marinas, boat ramps, and fishing piers. Some of the fish species that can be found in the lake include catfish, bass, crappie, and walleye.
