Lake Konowa

Lake Konawa is a reservoir located in south-central Oklahoma, in the city of Konawa. The lake was created in 1959 by damming the south Canadian River and covers approximately 5,000 acres. It is a popular recreational destination for fishing, boating, and camping, as it is home to a variety of fish species, including catfish, bass, crappie, and bluegill. The lake is also surrounded by several parks and campgrounds, with hiking trails and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy.
